NSB’s GM/CEO Shashi Kandambi honoured by APB

The Association of Professional Bankers (APB) felicitated Ms. Shashi Kandambi, the General Manager and CEO of the National Savings Bank (NSB), for her remarkable achievement in assuming the leadership role at NSB. The felicitation ceremony took place at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo, and eminent figures from the banking sector, including APB’s President, B A S H Preena, council members, esteemed members of the APB community and distinguished figures from the banking industry gathered to acknowledge and celebrate Ms. Kandambi’s ascent to the helm of NSB.

Ms. Kandambi, a former president of the APB, has long been recognized for her exemplary contributions to the banking sector. Her illustrious career and unwavering dedication to advancing the industry have earned her widespread acclaim and admiration. Among them were Aravinda Perera, chairman of PABC, Clive Fonseka, the CEO/General Manager of People’s Bank and Kelum Edirisinghe, the CEO/Director of NDB.
