Two foreigners suspected to have COVID-19 admitted to KTH

Two Polish nationals, suspected to have contracted COVID-19, were admitted to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital yesterday morning.

The two men, aged 37 and 44, are security providers for ships that travel in international waters. They arrived in Sri Lanka on March 03 and were in self-quarantine at a hotel in Galle.

There are now three suspected COVID-19 patients at Karapitiya Teaching Hospital. Seventeen others are being quarantined at Boossa and among them are two prison inmates.
