COVID-19 count rises to 91


More than 3,500 people are now in 45 quarantine centres around the country. They include 31 foreigners.

"There are 3,506 in quarantine centres among them 444 are those who returned to Sri Lanka from India," a spokesperson for the Task Force on COVID-19 said.

He said in addition 15,000 people, who had returned between March 01 and 15, too, had registered with police stations and they had been asked to undergo self-quarantine. The number of COVID-19 patients has risen to 91.
