Suresh, Dan from Sri Lanka win Over-55 Doubles

ITF Veterans’ Tennis in Colombo

Suresh Subramaniam, former national player who is currently the President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), clinched the coveted Men’s Doubles Over-55 title partnering Sri Lanka’s Dan Mukunthan this week at the first International Tennis Federation (ITF) Veterans Tennis, ended at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) Playing Section clay courts in Colombo. Subramaniam also became runner-up in the age group’s Singles as well.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s Prasanna Athauda and Bardent Joy won the Men’s Over-35 Doubles getting the better of an Indian pair in the event’s finals.
