Maris Stella continue dominance in track and field


Maris Stella College, Negombo completed yet another successful year in track and field sports as they won the Overall Boys Championship at both the All Island Schools Games Athletics Championship and the Sir John Tarbet Senior Athletics Championship.

According to statistics provided by the school it was the eighth consecutive time the school won the Athletic Championship at the All Island Schools Games (2010 to 2017).

It was the fifth consecutive year the school clinched the title at the Sir John Tarbet Senior Athletic Championship.

Maris Stella were the second runners-up at the recently held Sir John Tarbet Junior Athletics Championship and the runners up at the National Schools Relay Carnival organized by the Ministry of Education.
