Screening of ‘Love Over’, an English short film based on a true story

‘Love Over’ is a film produced by DMC Buddhist channel of Thailand based on a true story between a teenage girl and a boy. It was donated to Shraddha Television Network by the DMC Buddhist channel and subsequently dubbed into Sinhala and reproduced as Sri Lanka’s first-ever 3D film.


The film has now being dubbed into English for the benefit of a larger population around the world. The film depicts vividly using 3D technology, the repercussions when children do not receive parental love and care at the correct age and how the younger generation can blight their future by not being able to control their feelings and emotions.


It also focuses on the dreadful returns that one would face in hell owing to sins done as humans. The movie also shows how one who has been misguided gets proper direction and guidance to correct himself through Dhamma by associating with noble friends.


The ‘Love Over’ will be screened free of charge on Sunday, November 19 at the following times: 09.30 am – English film,11.30 am – Sinhala Film and 01.30 pm – English Film.


The venue is the main auditorium of Colombo South International College, Kohuwala, Nugegoda. For Reservations call 077 251 7455.
