AAT Sri Lanka felicitates 2016 A/L outstanding performers

AAT Sri Lanka hosted 53 promising AAT students from all over the country who excelled at the G.C.E. A/L 2016 examination commerce stream and received all island ranks among the top 100 students at a ceremony graced by Mrs. M. Kamani Perera, Director-School Activities & Acting Director-Commerce, Ministry of Education as Chief Guest.


This event was organized for the 4th consecutive year, following colourful ceremonies held in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 with the blessings of the Ministry of Education.


AAT Sri Lanka has been keen in fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities by organizing this type of ceremony to recognize outstanding performance of AAT students and encouraging them in their future endeavors.


The students who were felicitated have proven their excellence by allocating their time to qualify at a professional examination while continuing their academic work at Advanced Level and obtaining excellent results.


On the other hand, these students have proved the support they got to continue the A/L studies by following the AAT examination syllabus simultaneously. These students revealed that completing AAT examinations provided them vast experience to face the A/L examination with more ease and confidence and also manage their examination time wisely.


Dhanangani Rupasinghe of Ananda Balika Maha Vidyalaya — Hingurakgoda, who was placed all island 3rd at the G. C.E. A/C 2016 commerce stream was givens a cash prize in addition to a plaque and certificate. All the other 52 students among whom island 3rd, 4th & 5th were included were awarded AAT gift vouchers together with plaques and certificates.


AAT governing council members, principals and staff of the respective schools, parents and well-wishers and AAT staff participated.
